NEXT 2010 VIDEO CONTEST

ELIGIBILITY:

1. NEXT 2010 Video Contest is open to all university students from the United Kingdom and European countries.
2. Participants are ineligible if directly related to the committee of NEXT 2010 and the panel of judges for the contest.
3. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Contents Rules and the Terms and Conditions of the contest.
4. The organiser of NEXT 2010 video contest reserves the right to verify eligibility of any entrant or winner.

HOW TO ENTER:

1. Visit the official site of NEXT 2010, http://smsa.org.uk/next/
2. Click on the link of “Video Competition Registration” under Registration that will take you to the registration form.
3. Fill out the form and submit together with contact details including name, university, phone number and email.
4. You may upload your video on YouTube website starting from January 1, 2010. Any earlier submission from this date will be disqualified.

ENTRY FEE:

There is no entry fee required to enter this contest. Each participant may only submit one entry.

VIDEO CRITERIA:

1. 3-5 minutes long.
2. Based on the theme of NEXT 2010 which is “The Meaning of True Love”.
3. Promote NEXT 2010
4. Be the original work of the participant.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

1. Message clarity and relevance to the theme.
2. Creativity
3. Motivation and inspiration.
4. Overall impact.
5. 40%: video Rating
6. 20%: number of view on YouTube website.
7. 40%: Marks from the judge.
8. All videos will be judged a week before the NEXT 2010

PRIZE:

Only one prize will be awarded for the 1^st place which is 50 GBP cash on the day of NEXT 2010.
