» Travelling by Road

From the M1

  1. From M1 Northbound, leave the motorway at Junction 34 (Meadowhall). Take the A631 exit off the roundabout to go across the Viaduct to find another roundabout. N.B. If from M1 Southbound, leave the motorway at Junction 34 (Meadowhall)
  2. At this roundabout, take the exit onto Blackburn Road (located immediately after the slip road back onto the motorway)
  3. Take the 1st left off Blackburn Road and then 1st right onto Ecclesfield Road (B6082)
  4. Proceed along the road following ‘Wooley Wood’ sign and then take the 1st left onto Bellhouse Road (B6086)
  5. Follow the road up for about half mile then turn onto Shiregreen Lane and the Sports Centre is on the left.

From Sheffield City Centre

  1. From the City Centre, take the A6135 to Barnsley until you reach the crossroads at Fir Vale (just prior to the Northern General Hospital).
  2. Turn left onto the B6086 Firth Park Road.
  3. At the next roundabout take the right exit onto Bellhouse Road.
  4. Follow the road for about half a mile then turn right onto Shiregreen Lane and Concord Sports Centre is on the left.

    » From Sheffield City Centre by Bus

    1. Route No. 52 if you are going from West Street bus stop and get down in front of Castle Market. (purchasing a dayrider ticket is recommended)
    2. Route No. 47 or 48 ( bus wil be heading to Shiregreen Lane ) in front of Castle Market will drop you right outside the Sports Centre. *Note that bus no. 47 goes via a shorter route.

      » From the Coach/Railway Station

      1. Please note the Sheffield Coach Station and the Sheffield Railway Station are only opposite to each other.
      2. In order to get to Concord Sports Centre from these stations, the city buses or a taxi can be used. Taxis can be found in front of the railway station.
      3. To get to the venue by bus: You can get a tram ride from the Railway Station to Meadowhall. Route 2 / 59 from Meadowhall will drop you right outside Concord Sports Centre.
      4. To get to the venue by taxi: Quote this address – CONCORD SPORTS CENTRE, Shiregreen Lane, Sheffield, S5 6AE.
